The Program - An Overview

The foundations of the study Infonomics are in the field of economics and business with a special focus on Information and Communication Technologies and their impact on firms and society. This implies that students will gain thorough knowledge about economics, business and quantitative methods in the first phase of the study. In the second phase students will move to topics more specific to Infonomics, which also includes, next to the economics of the information society also Infomation management courses. In the second part of the Bachelors, the program is still broad and not highly specialised. The Masters will focus more on the economics of the Infomation society, combined with Information managment topics. core Infonomics topics and has its focus on the economics and business on Economics as such. The overall structure of the study is displayed in the figure below.
