Infonomics - The Students
You have had a look at what Infonomics about, but it all sounds rather abstract? Economics
from an informational perspective makes you suspect to be expected by a bunch of geeks? You want
to associate faces with what you have just read? Then this is the right place for you! On the
right you find randomly selected students that have supplied their opinion on the programme.
They are from different years, different backgrounds, and have made unique experiences at
the University of Maastricht and the Infonomics programme in particular. Their opinions are
not centrally reviewed and should thus provide you with some 'real' insights from the
students' perspective. Some of the students already have finished their studies and provide
information about their life after university. This shall give you an idea of the
wide range of career options that open up to Infonomics students. At the bottom of the pictures
column a link can be found, allowing to browse through all students having registered for that
service. Due to voluntary registration, the list is not exhaustive.
Why all this information? Why we tell you that the opinions are not reviewed? The overwhelming
majority of Infonomics is extraordinary happy with the choice taken, and we want to avoid you to
be puzzled such lots of positive attitude. Most of them will be happy to answer your questions if
you just write them an eMail.
One more thing: participating in the Internet revolution, most of the students run their own
webpages, quite some even several at once. It is part of the Infonomics approach to acquire
basic skills in that context. Therefore a 'webpages' section was created, linking to the students'
official (in the sense of course-motivated) as well as their private information spaces.
